Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy is the term used to describe the use of drugs for cancer treatment. Chemotherapy can be very effective against many cancers, and may be used in combination with other methods and or drugs. Intravenous chemotherapy is often provided in the clinic and will take from 30 minutes to 4 hours. Before you start chemotherapy, you will meet with our nurse and receive a detailed explanation. We encourage you to ask questions.

Lab

Complete blood counts and urinalysis are done in our office. Other comprehensive tests not listed above will be performed through an outside reference laboratory.  

CT

Now our patients can be scheduled with ease and the CTs are performed on our brand new Toshiba CT scanner.  This is not just any CT, the CT is located in a room with 15 foot ceilings and windows.  We have given new meaning to the word "open" when it comes to CTs.

Pharmacy

Obtain your prescriptions directly from our office instead of making an additional stop.  We carry all of the oncology specific drugs that you need to continue your care at home. Please ask us if we are able to process your pharmacy benefits.

Massage Therapy

Holistic health is our goal.  Ask us about our massage therapy options.

Life Enrichment Activity Programs

These programs are offered in our community through Gaston Memorial Hospital. These programs and services are available to assist you in your physical and emotional recovery from your cancer experience.  You and your family are encouraged to participate in these activities to optimize your retrun to health as fully as possible.
